Shipping

When will my order ship?
All orders are processed and dispatched within 2–4 business days. You’ll receive tracking details once it’s shipped.

How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery usually takes 3–8 business days within Australia, depending on your location.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers?
No, we currently deliver to residential and business addresses only.
Please provide a physical street address at checkout to ensure smooth delivery.

Do you ship internationally?
At this stage, we’re keeping things local and only shipping within Australia.
We hope to offer international shipping in the future once we’ve settled into our rhythm — but for now, Oak & Wilder candles are staying close to home.

Returns

Can I return or exchange my candle?
Because our products are handmade in small batches, we don’t offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind. Please choose thoughtfully before placing your order.

What if my order arrives damaged?
We take great care when packing each order, but if your items arrive damaged during transit, email oakandwilder@gmail.com and we’ll do our best to assist.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay through our secure checkout.

Candles & Care

How do I care for my candle?
Trim your wick to around 5 mm before each burn. Allow the first burn to reach the edges of the jar (about 2–3 hours) to help prevent tunnelling.
Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time and always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, and little hands.

Are your candles handmade?
Yes. Every Oak & Wilder candle is hand-poured in small batches using premium coconut-soy wax, lead free cotton wicks and carefully blended fragrance oils.

Are your products vegan or cruelty-free?
All Oak & Wilder candles are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. We never test on animals and source our materials responsibly.

Why does my candle look slightly different from the photos?
Because each candle is hand-poured in small batches, small variations in texture or colour are completely normal. It’s part of what makes every Oak & Wilder piece unique.

Can I reuse the jar?
Absolutely. Once your candle has finished burning, simply clean out any remaining wax and reuse the jar.
They make great homes for flowers, stationery, or little treasures — we love seeing them given a second life.
